Eco-friendly synthesis of graphene oxide–palladium nanohybrids

چکیده

Nanostructured hybrids of graphene oxide and palladium were fabricated by means one-step solvent-free gas phase treatment with the aliphatic amines 1-octadecylamine 1,8-diaminooctane, followed in situ decoration liquid medium using chloride as precursor citric acid a mild environmentally friendly stabilizing reducing agent. The proposed synthesis method represents an eco-friendly alternative for obtaining nanohybrids nanoparticles under conditions. Spectroscopic studies evidenced -COOH group derivatization due to amidation reaction; transmission electron microscopy demonstrated formation nanometer-sized crystalline particles that diamine-functionalization results larger particle sizes than observed monoamine- or non-functionalized substrates. obtained have slightly lower thermal stability pristine oxide.
